At Everest Customer Solutions, we believe in doing our part to help our community. Each year,
our company endeavors to find new ways to accomplish this mission.
The pandemic hit many small businesses extremely hard in 2020. We recognize our good fortune
in having been able to quickly pivot to a fully virtual environment and have since been fortunate
enough to maintain a flexible work environment for our people. While we are grateful to see our
business doing well, we know not all small businesses have continued to be so lucky in the time
since the pandemic, and this year we wanted to give back to those businesses.
Lee’s Deli in Philadelphia is one of many local restaurants burdened by the pandemic. The deli
has served its Philadelphia customers for 30 years and managed to do so during and after the
pandemic. That is until a large van crashed through the store on November 20, 2022, destroying
nearly everything, including the windows, doors, and most of the furnishings and equipment
inside. You can read more about their story here.
Many local businesses and patrons of Lee’s Deli have stepped up to assist Lee’s Deli until the
store is up and running again. To help put Lee’s Deli over their original fundraising goal on
GoFundMe, Everest has donated $5,000 to help with the rebuilding process.
If you would like to join us and donate to help Lee’s Deli get back up and running on the corner
of 4700 Baltimore Avenue, you can donate to their GoFundMe.
We are so grateful to be able to give back to our neighbors and community and look forward to
continuing to grow, supporting our customers, and celebrating our team’s professional and
personal successes.
